BibleCast is free — and stays free
Every feature, every translation, every update. There is no paid tier, no license to buy, no trial that runs out. If your church never gives anything, nothing changes: you get the same app, the same catalog of ~400 translations, and the same help when you write to us.
It is built by a very small team, and the costs arrive every month whether or not anyone gives. If BibleCast has earned its place in your Sunday morning, helping cover them is the most direct way to keep it going.
Ways to help
Card
Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay — handled by Stripe, so we never see your card details. Give once for any amount you choose, or set up a monthly amount you can change or stop whenever you like.
PayPal
Available in most countries — give from an account you already have, in your own currency.
Bank transfer
No processing fees, so all of it reaches the work. Usually the easiest option if your church pays by transfer, or for a larger one-off gift.
Use whichever currency matches yours — sending to a different one means the bank converts at its own rate.
What it pays for
Nothing glamorous — this is the list of things that would stop working if nobody covered them:
- The Apple Developer Program membership required to sign and notarize every release, so macOS trusts the app instead of warning your operator about it.
- Hosting and bandwidth for the translation catalog and the app updates that reach you through it.
- Licensing conversations with the rightsholders behind copyrighted translations, so more of them can join the catalog.
- Test hardware. BibleCast has to stay smooth on the older Intel Mac at the back of the sound booth, not only on a new machine.
- The time it takes to develop and test each release.
A few honest notes
Everyone runs the same BibleCast. No supporter tiers, no early access, no badge, no extra features held back for the people who give.
It is not tax-deductible. BibleCast is made by HFL Web App Development SRL, a Romanian company — not a registered non-profit or religious entity. A contribution is not a sponsorship you can deduct, and we cannot issue a receipt that says otherwise.
Helping without money counts too. Report a bug you hit mid-service, suggest a translation missing from the catalog, or tell another church that BibleCast exists. Honestly as useful to us — the contact form reaches a real person.
