Remote control
Remote control lets you drive the projection from a phone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi — handy when you operate from the back of the room, away from the Mac. Scan a QR code and your phone becomes a clean remote: show, hide, navigate verses, and browse the Bible.
Start the server
In the toolbar, click the icon to open the remote-control dialog, then toggle Enable. BibleCast starts a local server and shows a QR code plus an address (like http://192.168.x.x:8088).
Connect your phone
Make sure the phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi as the Mac, then scan the QR code (or type the address into a browser). It loads a control page styled like the app — same theme (dark/light) and same language, which sync live if you change them in the app.
What you can control
Show and Hide the output, Next/Prev through verses, browse book → chapter → verse, switch translation, and jump straight to the live verse. The navigation commands route through the exact same dispatcher the keyboard uses, so the phone and the keyboard can never drift out of sync.
Reconnecting & persistence
The enabled state plus the pairing token persist, so on the next launch BibleCast auto-starts the server and a paired phone reconnects without re-scanning. If the network blips for a moment, the page reconnects on its own.
